There are hundreds of sicknesses that are related to the food you’re eating! Eating healthier can definitely boost your immunity and make you healthier. (I was used to spending 40+ days a year in my bed to fight several diseases. Year after year. I visited 20+ doctors in 1 year only, and no one knew how to help me. What I know now is that all my health issues were related to my low immunity. Nowadays, If I get sick, which happens about once a year (and usually due to my stupidity like partying in the Alps during the winter and not being properly dressed), I only need a couple of days to recover. 95% of my health issues from my previous years are gone!)
