Table of Contents
Ascent By Bionic Nutrition is a relatively new nootropic stack on the market that was designed to:
- Improve your cognitive performance
- Increase your energy and focus
- Provide brain ingredients for ultimate performance
To find out if Ascent is worth supplementing, we decided to test it out.
Here is what we discovered.
Our Experience With Ascent
We were taking Ascent for about a week. Now, contrary to most other supplements that we try, we expected quite a strong performance from Ascent.
Well, we had a quick look at the ingredients before we started taking it, so we knew there is quite a lot to expect from it. And luckily, Ascent didn’t disappoint. Here is what happened:
We were taking 2 capsules of Ascent on an empty stomach in the morning for about a week.
First of all, this nootropic stack contains caffeine + L-Theanine, which means, you can expect a mild energy boost.
And this is exactly what happened. We got a nice boost, which allowed us to work for a couple of hours without any crash. We also felt more motivated and focused than usual.
Another cool thing is that Ascent contains a high dose of Rhodiola Rosea, which we believe is another reason why we were in such a good mood, and so focused for hours.
We didn’t notice any other effects nor did we feel any adverse side effects, which is great.
How strong is Ascent compared to our favorite nootropic stacks?
It’s pretty well stacked, no doubt about that. When it comes to the energy and focus boost, it’s up there near the top.
And for the optimal cognitive performance, we’d still want a slightly higher dose of certain nootropics.
Let us explain why.
Ascent nootropic stack contains all-natural ingredients, it is produced in the FDA approved facility, it contains no fillers, and it contains no proprietary blends.
The formula contains 14 ingredients, which are:
- Vitamin B6, 50 mg
- Uridine, 250 mg
- DHA, 200 mg
- Bacopa Monnieri, 150 mg
- L-Theanine, 100 mg
- Rhodiola Rosea, 100 mg
- Oat Straw, 100 mg
- Lion’s Mane Extract, 100 mg
- Alpha GPC, 100 mg
- Whole Coffee Fruit Extract, 75 mg
- PS, 75 mg
- N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine, 75 mg
- Organic Coffee, 50 mg
- Huperzine A, 40 mcg
Its formula is well-dosed, which is quite rare nowadays.
We are thrilled to see such a high dose of Rhodiola Rosea in the stack, and a nice combo of caffeine + L-theanine.
There is also one of our favorite choline sources, Alpha GPC. Sadly, the produce contains Huperzine A, which needs to be cycled!
Ascent Side Effects
During our test of Ascent nootropic stack, we felt no adverse side effects.
This product contains natural and high-quality ingredients, so we honestly expected no issues.
Also, when checking reviews from others (more info below), most people have been very satisfied with it. And that’s great to know!
So, we find Ascent a very good supplement, but you need to be careful because it contains Huperzine A.
Do consult your doctor before supplementing it.
Ascent Suggested Use
The recommended suggested use of Ascent is 2 capsules/day. Do take them in the morning.
Due to the high amount of caffeine, you need to stick to the recommended daily dosage.
As part of our review process, we searched for user feedback.
The funny thing is we couldn’t find a lot of reviews from users, but we found many reviews from people testing Ascent.
Most were pretty satisfied with the supplement and recommend it further.
Some even put it on their top supplements list. But yeah, we can’t wait to see more feedback from actual users.
Where To Buy Ascent?
So, you’ve decided to try out Ascent?
Well, the best place to buy it is on their webshop. However, there are better nootropic supplements currently available on the market. Check our recommendation below.
We have to admit that Ascent by Bionic Nutrition positively surprised us. It’s a very, very good product, it contains some of the best nootropics on the market, it’s well-dosed, and it definitely improves your performance.
On the other hand, it does contain quite a lot of caffeine, so you have to be careful not to combine it with your morning coffee. Also, it lacks user reviews, but this is because it’s pretty new on the market. User experience on their webshop is also something that can be improved. Since it contains Huperzine A, you need to cycle it. Overall, it’s a good product, but there are better alternatives on the market.
