What Is Plato?

Plato is a unique nootropic supplement that was developed to help people improve their memory, enhance focus, and increase energy levels. Besides, it can also decrease symptoms of stress.

So, what makes Plato so unique? Compared to many other supplements, it contains “only” 4 nootropic compounds.

Now, don’t get me wrong – these 4 ingredients (3 of them are plants) are probably the most effective nootropics you can currently find on the market. Also, they are almost perfectly dosed.

So, does Plato works? Does it provide the promised benefits?

Let’s check out my experience with it.

Plato review

My Experience

I have been testing Plato for about a week to see if it is any good. After the first couple of days of testing, I was positively surprised.

I took 2 capsules on an empty stomach in the morning before I started working. In about 15-30 minutes, I became quite relaxed and focused at the same time.

It was a pleasurable feeling, no doubt about it. Even though I was quite busy during the week with tons of emails I had to reply to after Christmas, I stayed calm, relaxed, and focused.

Working on tasks was significantly more relaxed than usual, and with that, my motivation increased as well.

I felt no adverse side effects whatsoever.

It was a pleasurable experience overall, much better than I expected.

Ingredients

As I mentioned before, Plato contains 4 high-quality ingredients. They are all from branded standardized extracts.

Ingredients in Plato are:

  • Bacopa Monnieri (300 mg)
  • Rhodiola Rosea (100 mg)
  • Panax Ginseng (60 mg)
  • L-theanine (200 mg)

There is no doubt this is a very natural formula that contains 3 of my favorite nootropics – L-theanine, Bacopa, and Rhodiola. I am a frequent user of these nootropics, and I often recommend them to my fellow biohackers, friends, and family.

The dosages of ingredients are on point; there is nothing to complain about. Since they are branded extracts, I wouldn’t worry about purity either.

I am a big fan of caffeine, which I often use in nootropic supplements, along with L-theanine. Sadly, based on my experience, caffeine doesn’t go so well together with Panax Ginseng, therefore, I rarely experiment with this nootropic.

But I have done my research, and I know Panax Ginseng is a very-well researched nootropic. And quite an effective one.

Is there anything I don’t like in this formula?

Well, Vernon Health decided to go down the “natural route” on this product. This means Plato might just be one of the safest nootropic supplements for long-term use.

Having said this, you won’t find a few effective, but less-researched nootropics in this formula like Lion’s Mane mushroom, Citicoline, and Phosphatidylserine. I don’t blame them for that – I get their logic, and I think they will have many users across the world.

However, I do miss caffeine in the formula – I just love the kick it gives when it is combined with L-theanine. Well, there is still some space for future improvement.

Recommended Dosage

Vernon Health recommends taking 2 capsules of Plato per day.

Based on my tests, I would agree with them – 2 capsules are just perfect. Since the pills don’t contain caffeine, you can combine them with a cup of coffee in the morning.

I tried it, and it worked well!
