Performance Lab Mind Review

Performance Lab Mind is a nootropic supplement developed by Opti Nutra Advanced Nutraceuticals, a trendy brand on the market of nootropics.

Mind is just one product in the line of multiple products developed by this brand to help you achieve ultimate cognitive performance.

This supplement is so exciting because it was developed by the same company that makes Mind Lab Pro, one of my favorite nootropic stacks since 2016. But how good it really is? Check out my full review.

Benefits

Performance Lab Mind is a cognitive enhancer that provides mental recovery and brain health support. [1]

It is a brain supplement that was developed to:

  1. Improve cognitive functions (focus, processing speed, motivation)
  2. Help with mental recovery
  3. Provide anti-stress benefits
  4. Improve your learning
  5. Enhance the essential aspects of memory

What does it make so unique? It doesn’t just boost your brainpower and all performance-oriented processes. It also helps your brain to recover after mental exertion. This means you may feel more stress-resistant, there will be less mental fatigue, and you will be quickly prepared for new challenges even after the strenuous workdays, study nights or days, etc.

There are a lot of reasons why Performance Lab Mind might be the single most crucial supplement for optimal mental performance. But can one product do all that?

Let’s take a look at ingredients and my review, and it will all be evident right away.

Performance Lab Mind Ingredients

Performance Lab Mind’s formula is open-sourced and is suitable for vegan. It is also allergen-free, non-GMO, and free of all synthetic additives or banned substances.

The formula contains the following ingredients:

  • Citicoline, 250 mg
  • Phosphatidylserine, 100 mg
  • N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine, 300 mg
  • Maritime Pine Bark Extract, 75 mg

This is it? Yes, and it’s a very effective formula.

CITICOLINE (Cognizin)

Citicoline is also known as CDP-choline. It is a mononucleotide composed of choline, cytosine, ribose, and pyrophosphate. Citicoline is naturally produced in every living cell in our body. When you supplement it, it converts into choline and cytidine.

Choline is needed to synthesize acetylcholine, which is essential for cognition, learning, and memory. It also acts by increasing the synthesis of phosphatidylcholine, necessary for rebuilding damaged neuron membranes. This is crucial to keep the communication between neurons going, which is essential for attention, memory, learning, and cognition in general.

Cognizin Citicoline has been shown to increase ATP, valuable for mitochondria, which provide brain cells with energy. [2

PHOSPHATIDYLSERINE (PS)

Phosphatidylserine is a fat-soluble amino acid present in nearly all cells in the human body. It supports all kinds of cognitive functions. From the formation of short-term memory, the consolidation of long-term memory to the ability to create new memories, and the ability to retrieve memories.

It also improves the ability to focus, to concentrate, and it supports rapid reactions and reflexes. [3]

ACETYL-L-TYROSINE

N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine (NALT) is a laboratory enhanced form of L-Tyrosine that is highly bioavailable and well-tolerated. NALT is the preferred L-Tyrosine form for brain health benefits.

L-Tyrosine seems to be very effective for people in stressful situations. It can provide anti-stress effects. Also, some studies show that it can improve cognition during stressful situations.

MARITIME PINE BARK EXTRACT

Maritime pine trees grow in countries on the Mediterranean Sea. It contains substances that improve blood flow, reduce swelling, and it has many antioxidant effects. Maritime pine bark extract is often used to treat problems of the heart and blood vessels.

PL Mind has a decent formulation, but it lacks many important nootropics. It contains no Lion’s Mane mushroom; there are no adaptogen herbs, no L-theanine, no caffeine, etc. It’s a suitable formulation for long-term use, but it lacks ingredients for optimal short- term performance.

My Experience With Mind

Performance Lab Mind Experience

Does Performance Lab Mind really work? Does it do anything? Do you feel anything? Will it boost your energy? Will it make you fly? Those are all the questions I received when I announced on my social media channels that I’ll be testing this supplement.

Even though I’ve been testing it for quite a while (about two weeks), I still cannot fly, nor did I feel any other amazing benefits.

This supplement didn’t give me an energy push. I didn’t feel dramatically more focused, nor did it make me more motivated.

It may have enhanced my memory, but it is impossible to notice that in 2 weeks. Even though nootropics take some time to kick in, PL Mind lacks many nootropics. Therefore, I don’t expect different results after months of testing.

In the past, nootropics didn’t provide short-term benefits. People were taking them for long-term effects. But many amazing supplements completely changed this rule.

I have tested some outstanding nootropic supplements that provided amazing short-term effects. Since then, my nootropic standards have increased, and I expect all supplements to provide both short- and long-term effects.

PL Mind isn’t a bad product – far from that. But due to the lack of effective nootropics, it just cannot provide the desired benefits.

Side Effects

I’ve experienced no particular side effects when taking Performance Lab Mind. Performance Lab Mind seems to be safe for long-term use. The ingredients are well-dosed, but not overdosed.

Opti Nutra claims that there is no need for cycling. However, I would still recommend cycling it – 3 weeks on, 1 week off or 5 days on, 2 days off. This is important if you intend to take the supplement for a more extended period.

Recommended Daily Dosage

Opti Nutra recommends taking 1-2 capsules of Performance Lab Mind in the morning or early afternoon. I recommend taking 2 capsules before or with your breakfast.

With consistent use of Performance Lab Mind, you’ll get the most out of the product, but do not expect magic. Also, don’t forget about cycling.

Your Inception Final Recommendation

Your Inception Guarantee

Based on our detailed review, personal test, and comparison with other effective nootropic stacks, we do not recommend supplementing Performance Lab Mind.

It used to be a very decent nootropic supplement, but many other brands developed more advanced and effective nootropics. Until Opti Nutra optimizes its formula, we believe there are better supplements on the market. Click on the button below to check them out.
